SOUTHEASTERN IBEX
The Southeastern Ibex (or Sierra Nevada Ibex) is one of the four Ibex found in Spain. In this case, it inhabits the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and other systems of mountains located in the South-East corner of Spain. In terms of body size and color, it is quite similar to the Beceite Ibex, perhaps a bit smaller and not as dark, as the black fur is just spread over the chest and legs. However, the main difference relies on the horns, which grow backwards. Seen from the top front, they seem like a parenthesis: they go back opening sideways and then they close again the tips. It is important to judge their size when crossways, as the horns size cannot be well appreciated from the front as happens with the Beceite Ibex.

THE HUNT
Stalking can be extremely demanding at some points of this area because of the topography of the terrain. However, free walks are usually limited to the final approach once the desired trophy has been located. This condition makes of this an absolute mountain hunt where usually long shots are needed.
Due to the fact of having long trails over the entire area, makes possible to host any hunter regardless of his shape. However, in these cases having good shooting skills becomes mandatory.

THE HUNTING AREA
Our main area is located bordering the Sierra Nevada National Park on the South. It is a huge mountainous territory over 10.000 hectares (+20.000 acres), very rocky but also full of pine and oak trees. There are so numerous hides and shelters that having good spotting skills is really appreciated. The hunting area is well provided of trails where only a 4WD vehicle can drive, and connect remote spots in the mountains.
