PARTRIDGE SHOOTING
Undoubtedly, the Red-leg Partridge is the king of the small game in Spain. There is no other bird in Spain that arouses such a passion among the Spanish hunters. Its thunderous wingbeat together with its flat and fast flight, makes this a very exciting hunt but also one of the most challenging birds in the world.
THE HUNT
One of the most common modalities is the driven partridge. On it, a numerous staff beats the terrain with flags and sometimes also horses, trying to move the birds towards a shooting line of 6 to 10 guns. Due to the speed and altitude of the birds flight, a very challenging shooting can be expected. Usually, a minimum of 450 partridges (eventually less) can be shot on a single day in a total of 4 or 5 drives a day and can be organized for up to 3 or 4 days depending on the characteristics of the shooting estate.
SHOOTING ESTATES
We have access to the best areas in Spain according to the quality of the drives, the amount of birds flying and the hospitality offered. Their characteristics may change: some offer accommodation in the estate, others not, the minimum daily bag may change from 300 to 600 birds a day and the orography of the terrain may give higher or lower birds.
