THE HUNT
This hunt is mainly organized in September and October when the mating season takes place. As the males are used to fight to show their bravery during the rut, their horns uses to break or crush, losing tips or sometimes the full antler. In this way, when willing to harvest a nice trophy, it is suggested to organize this hunt in early season.
The hunt is conducted in spot-and-stalk, so the guide and the hunter will visit different hot spots in the area following the roar. The Fallow Deer always keep the distance with possible dangers and like to hide in the woods, so having clear shooting opportunities are normally difficult. The ability to manage the stalk is the key to harvest old trophies.
