PLAINS GAME
Undoubtedly, the African safari is a dream for any hunter and South Africa the most affordable destination. Both for hunters who visit Africa for first time or for the most experienced hunters, South Africa always keep something new. The areas that we represent hold more than 70 hunting species, from dangerous game to African antelopes or introduced game that got adapted to this habitat. Therefore, South Africa becomes the most exotic and varied destination.
THE HUNT
The way we hunt is specially determined by the topography of our hunting areas. When other corners of South Africa are mostly flat and sandy, and the game show up at short ranges while the hunting vehicle moves further, in here is a different story. Our areas count on a mountainous and rocky topography with a maximum elevation over the 2.000 m. (6.000 ft.) That, summed to the undulated lowest areas make possible to spot the game at very long distance (over 1km ~1.000 yd) and to plan the best possible approach. So, once we stop and leave the vehicle behind, our stalk will be conducted playing with the permanent undulations of the terrain and the possible wind up to getting to a shooting chance.
The topography of the areas and its huge extensions are also the best attraction for those who stay away from easy hunts. Once immersed in the mountains, any border or fence will disappear, becoming a new challenge.
THE RANCHES
Our hunting areas are found in Eastern Cape and owned by the same property. They are 4 different ranches that sum more than 50.000 hectares and count with their own high quality lodges. Furthermore, we count on the hunting rights of several free-range areas adjacent to ours, where it is possible to hunt different species and increase our list. In total, we count on more than 70 species.
The main feature of our areas is the abrupt topography that makes more technical any hunt. Furthermore, the high density of low bushes (specially in the flattest corners) become hides for all kind of fauna and makes more difficult spotting any species.
